Upper Trap & Levator Scapulae Stretch



How do you stretch your Levator Scapulae?

  1. Begin sitting upright on chair with left hand under your bottom
  2. With your right hand grab your head and slowly side bend and forward flex (difference between upper trap stretch) just your head 
  3. Sustain this stretch for 30 seconds and repeat 2-3 times
  4. Keep your back straight the entire time!

How do you stretch your Upper Trap?

  1. Begin sitting upright on chair with left hand under your bottom
  2. With your right hand grab your head and slowly side bend just your head to your right shoulder
  3. Sustain this stretch for 30 seconds and repeat 2-3 times
  4. Keep your back straight the entire time!
  5. Use opposite hands to target right trap
