Piriformis Massage Ball Self-Release
How do you do it?
- Sit on the floor with your affect leg crossed over your non-affected leg so that your ankle is just above your knee
- Find the ischial tuberosity (bony bump in the middle of your butt)
- Place the massage ball just outside of the bump of your piriformis
- Place pressure on the ball
- Slowly move the knee on your affected leg up an down to enhance the release
