Carpal Tunnel Syndrome – Special Test
How can I tell if I might have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?
A simple special test called the Reverse Phalen’s Test can be used to quickly determine if you may have signs and symptoms consistent with carpal tunnel syndrome.
In order to perform this test:
- Position both of your wrists into extension and press your palms together.
- Maintain this position for 60 seconds and if your symptoms of numbness, tingling, or burning are reproduced then you may have carpal tunnel syndrome.
Specific stretching, strengthening, and bracing programs can help greatly reduce the conditions associated with condition!
